While console fans have been enjoying the off-road racing of DiRT 2 for over a month PC gamers will finally get their fix on December 1st for North America (gamers from other parts of the globe will have to wait two or three more days). The reason for the wait? Codemasters has implemented DirectX 11 features into the game to make sure it looks as realistic as possible, and how are they promoting DirectX 11’s new tech? DiRT 2 is built upon the groundwork of the previous DiRT game, with new features such as online play and flashback mode. UPDATE: Due to track conditions, the Dirt Derby is canceled this week. Ladies Night will be rescheduled for next Tuesday. Although the Dirt Derby has had a decent women’s showing the last couple weeks, the weekly Tuesday cyclocross and mountain bike short track series wants more participation from the fairer sex.
